Some many people make the mistakes of creating a YouTube channel and upload any videos. Take your time and write down what kind of your videos you will be uploading on YouTube.
Here are lots of IDEAS you can create your video on but you must stick to the genre, so that your audience will be know, it is very important.
ENTERTAINMENT: like comedy, dance, movie, short videos, funny talks, stand up comedy and other entertaining activities will fall under Entertainment.
COMEDY: strictly funny videos and anything comic., Making people you happy on any videos they watch.
MUSIC: as an artist, you can create a channel where you can legally upload content about your music freestyle and recordings., Don't upload people music or video, to AVOID COPYRIGHT ©️ STRIKE or been BANNED 🚫.
RELIGIOUS: here, you can create videos about church or mosque, preaching the gospel, but you must preach the TRUTH, so you can have good audience., It's about Faith.
EDUCATION: become a tutor online, on YouTube and teach people your best subject and best lessons, it involved research for your content will be interesting. Teach on any secondary school subjects, courses etc..
HEALTH: if you have PASSION in Health, as a pharmacist or doctor/nurse, midwife, you can be creating contents on the your passion and educate people on health tips, people will be find it interesting but try to stay focused.

LIFESTYLE AND VLOGS: most people love talking to audience on camera on their phone, telling about their daily life, go around to places and share their experiences on video., If you find that interesting for you., Then focus on that.
ANIMAL: here is for people that love pets, and animals, you can create videos on that genre about the the animals characters, life and history etc.
HISTORY/GEOGRAPHY: you know, doing videos on history of the world, country society, Villages, state etc ... People will love it, because people love history, the biggest mountain, smallest mountain, biggest house in history etc..
FOOD/RESTAURANT: teach how to cook, different foods, in any countries, teach how to eat etc..
VEHICLES: talk about the latest, oldest cars, bus and the differences between vehicles.
SPORTS: videos are about sports, football, drop your video you create about how to play football, basketball, sport news etc...
NEWS & CURRENT AFFAIRS: strictly for studios and radio FM to create news and any thing going on the country.
FASHION & STYLES: new clothes, new styles in town, teach people on the new fashion, train people on the video content.
PEOPLE & CULTURE: talk about people culture and way of life and your observations, you can create a video about your culture and share it to the world on YouTube.
REAL ESTATE & PROPERTY: house and land property., Tell people about real estate and why you need to invest in it., Stay focused.

Here, I advise new YouTuber to create a lots of videos and edit them before proceeding to Create the channel., Make at least five videos.
Starting YouTube channel as a beginner, will not attract much viewers immediately, it will take a small time before you have much views on your videos.
Don't be discouraged when views are not much, keep uploading your videos based on your schedules., This is your hustling time, which shall be your story for tomorrow how you started.
Be persistent - Don't give up your passion/dreams or talents.
